Copyright violation[edit]

Hello Adam. Please do not upload versions of Guiseley's badge to Wikimedia commons. As an organistion's logo, this is copyrighted and cannot be made freely available on Commons.

A correctly licenced version of the club badge can be added to individual language Wikipedias. One is available on English Wikipedia at File:Guiseley AFC logo.png. If this logo is wrong (I cannot see any real difference with the version you changed it to other than a slight change in tint), then please upload a new version of it at that page (you will see a link at the bottom of the page "Upload a new version of this file").

If you upload a new version, it must comply with the non-free image rules, and not be larger than 100,000 pixels in size (the current dimensions of 296 × 336 is 99,456 pixels, so you won't get one much bigger than this).

I can't see that the white lines between elements being transparent is a big issue for the logo as it's used on Wikipedia, as it is only used on very light backgrounds (i.e. the infoboxes of Guiseley and Guiseley Vixens); I don't think most people would even notice that the lines are not white.

Anyway, can you not see an "Upload a new version of this file" link on this page? What happens if you go to this link?

Hello, I cannot see that on either of the links you have sent, this does not cause an issue on Wikipedia but a lot of people download the logo from here and that is when we see our badge being use incorrectly on various different websites, print, videos and other media. Hi. Thanks for your recent edits. My apologies for reverting the first edit, but without a source it was not possible to verify it. I have now amended your edit so that the infobox only shows his appearances and goals in the Northern Counties East League; cup etc. appearances are not included in the infobox. Best wishes.
