File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Hacettepe.png[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Hacettepe.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 00:11, 22 March 2011 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 00:11, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011[edit]

Please stop uploading larger versions of non-free images. Eeekster (talk) 00:16, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not continue to upload files missing information on their copyright status, as you did with File:Hacettepe.png. Note that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and that the copyright status of all media files uploaded to Wikipedia must be verifiable by others. If you are unsure of the correct copyright template, please refer to the list of image copyright tags. If you would like to experiment with uploading files, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Real Madrid C.F.[edit]

Before you go change Real Madrid C.F. again as you did here and here, please read the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Archive 52#Manchester City or Man. City. If you don't agree with that position, please open a new discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:22, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You made the same change here, and oddly enough, it was reverted. Please stop going against consensus. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:40, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on File:Sercanyildirim09.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ww2censor (talk) 17:08, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fenerbahçe S.K.[edit]

Hi. Please note that the articles Fenerbahçe S.K. and Fenerbahçe S.K. (football team) are to be kept distinct. The former is about the parent multisport club and the latter is only about the football section. Please ensure that this distinction remains rather than making edits which cause the two articles to become overly similar. Additionally, please do not re-add kits to the infobox that do not have transparencies and that have sponsors logos on. If you look at Template:Football kit, which supports these images, you'll see that transparency must be present, and sponsors' logos, etc. must not be there. Thanks. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 09:04, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so rather than engaging in any discussion you've just put these incorrect kit images back. Please don't do this again, or it may be construed as vandalism. Thanks. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 13:29, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
...and now you've re-added the excessive football club info to the multisport club article. Please stop this. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 15:52, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Seriously, read the text at Template:Football kit and then ensure that your edits adhere to this. Any re-addition of incorrect imagery without discussion will be considered vandalism, which I'm sure is not your intention. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 11:58, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in you being blocked from editing. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 23:13, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Henri Bienvenu. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
