Preclinical DLB[edit]

Please have a look at WP:BRD, WP:EDITWAR, WP:COI and WP:MEDRS; there is a discussion of your edits to DLB here. I appreciate your frustration, but am a bit frustrated myself that you do not appear to have even read the article. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:40, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You found the talk page :) Now, Help:Talk pages and Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines will help you learn your way around talk (things like how to start a new section, how to indent your posts, etc). I am so sorry about your stepfather. Best regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:26, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Reply[edit]

I replied to you on Draft talk:List of graduate student employee unions. --Bduke (talk) 11:27, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I've since moved your draft into the article space! I had to slightly change the title due to a conflict with a pre-existing redirect. So the title currently is List of graduate student labor unions. Which could be fixed in the future however it's something that can be addressed later on.

(Click List of graduate student employee unions to see what I mean.)

There is also a slight issue with Instagram links, I've marked the issue on the page. So just make sure to fix that up eventually.

I'm not sure how many edits you currently have, but once you reach a certain level you can make a draft into a article without the need for review. You just have to use the "move" function on the top right, to change it from Draftspace to an Article.

Cheers! -- LoomCreek (talk) 17:22, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

After examining your account, you're autoconfirmed. So you have move rights, in other words you can just move drafts into the article space without any issues. If you just wanted others to look over it I totally understand that too. As a preface, if unreviewed (by the few that have those administrator level rights) it'll be 90 days before it gets catalogued by search engines but it will show up on Wikipedia. However, because it's a list it's likely it could get approved fairly quickly, at which point it'll be indexed by search engines. It's solid list, thanks for the contribution. -- LoomCreek (talk) 17:27, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also I apologize if I ended up causing any issues. I think I was just acting on an assumption that you intended for the article to be published but were simply encountering some issues around it.
I did however also review it, and did some minor formatting. It does genuinely seem to me to be a perfectly reasonable level of work and sourcing for it to be published. It is genuinely a very impressive level of work in my opinion to find all the sources for each. - LoomCreek (talk) 18:48, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi LoomCreek! Thank you so very much for your help with this article. I was super busy this past week, and I'm returning to this project now.  :) I need help to change the new article's title to "List of graduate student employee unions." I tried to change the title but it conflicted with an existing redirect page (just as you said). So I tried to re-title THAT redirect page so that I could recycle the title for the real page... Except I think I just made everything worse. And I tried that twice before realizing that I was creating more redirect pages.  :( I'm so sorry!

The original goal of the project was specifically to replace that redirect page with my new page! Please see the lengthy discussion that starts here: Talk:Graduate_student_employee_unionization#number_of_grad-student_worker_unions and continues here: Talk:Graduate_student_employee_unionization#Table_of_Grad_Worker_Unions.

Can you please help me to re-title the new article as "List of graduate student employee unions" as I had originally intended? Maybe there's a better way than my clearly bad idea of deleting the current redirect page and recycling the title. And can you also help me delete the 2 redirect pages that I didn't intend to create: List of graduate student employee unions and List of graduate student labor unions. Thank you!!! I'm happy to help however I can, I've just never done this before and I'm clueless.

Hi sorry about the late response! Just preoccupied at the moment. Yes I can definitely help with that will probably take a week or too. There is a special type of move request you can make to solve these sort of issues. --LoomCreek (talk) 18:01, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @LoomCreek, it's no worries and thanks very much! I searched for the correct type of move request for this situation, and I've posted my request for technical help here: Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests#Uncontroversial technical requests. Was this the special type of move request that you were thinking of? I hope?
Hail Mary!!! AJVincelli (talk) 01:39, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If my memory is correct yes that was the one I was thinking of. Someone with greater wiki tech privileges should hopefully be able to resolve it within the week now that the request has been made.
Hope it works out! LoomCreek (talk) 02:48, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hah! Freedom4U totally bailed me out, and fixed everything perfectly! I think we're in the clear with the title issue. Whew! AJVincelli (talk) 21:12, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nice! LoomCreek (talk) 15:37, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
