Hi. Please stop trying to change Colour to your preferred spelling; it's a settled issue here, and you'll just find your changes continually reversed. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 19:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Colour is the right spelling[edit]

It's too bad that it has to be in American English. I guess I'll have to keep reverting it back to Standard, Normal English that the rest of the world speaks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ABCDER (talkcontribs) 19:07, 7 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

  • Please don't create redirects without consensus, as you recently did with Color. The current arrangement is in keeping with wikipedia policy and further edits to redirect the page could be considered a violation of said policy. Please desist. Doc Tropics 19:09, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
ABCDER, for millions of people, "color" is the correct spelling. Is the fact that there's no "standard English" really that difficult for you to understand? WorldWide Update 21:18, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting on Colour[edit]

Hi ABCDER. Today you violated the Three-revert rule on colour. The idea behind this rule is that we cannot tolerate revert wars as they lead to nowhere. Working on this wiki can only lead to something meaningful if we try to work towards Consensus. Sometimes this means that we simply have to choose one or the other way because endlessly reverting back and forth between two states cannot be a definitive solution. If you continue this kind of behaviour, I will block you from editing. Please be cautious and read the two policy pages. Thanks. --Ligulem 22:48, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
