Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I saw your newly created article Get Medieval, and noticed that it does not currently explain why the comic strip is notable, according to Wikipedia's notability guidelines. If you can, please add some information that satisfies those requirements, to avoid the article being deleted as non-notable in the future. Thanks! --Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 06:55, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, I was too slow - another user has deleted the article. If you believe the comic is notable according to the above guidelines, don't hesitate to bring it to deletion review, or ask someone for help by placing {{helpme}} anywhere on this page. Cheers, --Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 07:01, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this is my first wikipedia page, and I am not sure what all of this means. I came across the Get Medieval webcomic, and really liked it, so I looked on Wikipedia and found nothing. I am not sure what "notable" means, but there seems to be quite a community that regularly reads the comic, and it has over 700 comics, going regularly and daily since 2004. It isn't a vanity article, as I have nothing to do with the comic or the author. I just started this page because I was surprised there was nothing on wikipedia about it, and was hoping to get further information about the comic by people who are more familiar with it.

Wikipedia:Notability (web) gives suggestions about how notable something should be to have a Wikipedia article. To get your article restored, you can speak to the deleting admin (at User talk:Moriori) or go to deletion review as Daveydweeb suggests.--Commander Keane 07:23, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Only a vanishingly small fraction of all webcomics meet Wikipedia's current notability criteria. If you feel a burning need to write about it, you can always try to improve Get Medieval over at Comixpedia. Bo Lindbergh 21:13, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh please, only a vanishingly small fraction of half the crap on Wikipedia meets Wikipedia's current notability criteria. Let's delete half the site! 66.53.235.59 16:26, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
