Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but I highly recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (99.151.166.95) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome!

Please read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) located at the top of the page. Your question has already been answered. Viriditas (talk) 14:54, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are free at any time to read the message at the top of the page. In case you are having trouble seeing it, here it is again:
  • Q1: Why is this article not called "Climategate" or have the word "scandal" in its title?
  • A1: Article names are expected to exhibit the highest degree of neutrality to satisfy Wikipedia's neutral point of view requirements. The use of "scandal" or "-gate" frequently implies wrongdoing or a particular point of view. Such terms are words to avoid and should not be used in article titles. Climategate is a redirect to this article, so users typing that in the search box will be directed here.
I hope that clears up any further issues. Viriditas (talk) 15:23, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop ignoring my messages and stop restoring archived discussions. The article is not getting moved at this time, and the reason has been explained to you by many editors. I've also pointed you to a FAQ both in the article and on your talk page that explains the reason. Thanks for your attention. Viriditas (talk) 15:32, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is no effort to "kill" debate. The topic has already been discussed dozens of times, and you were pointed to a FAQ. Is this making sense? Viriditas (talk) 15:35, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please cease edit warring, or you are likely to find yourself being blocked. -- ChrisO (talk) 16:44, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been reported for edit-warring at WP:AN3#User:99.151.166.95 reported by User:ChrisO. I strongly advise that you stop edit-warring immediately, or you are likely to find that your block will be a prolonged one. -- ChrisO (talk) 00:34, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked from editing for a short time for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
