Why do you want to redirect the page?--Ipatrol (talk) 20:21, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The user page is redundant, because it contains just the notice we talked about. The talk page has an equivalent notice and more.--Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 20:38, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A subpage must have a base page with content to avoid CSD, not just a redir. Normal userpages usually avoid this but because we are messing with a userpage like a project page, the requirement stands.--Ipatrol (talk) 23:10, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

CSD means Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion--Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 00:05, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What about haveing the talk page be the base page. what do you mean by "messing with a userpage like a project page"?--Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 00:05, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't us using a user page for our (the IP's) purposes. We are creating disclaimers and warning as if this were a project page. It is fundamentally different than a user page and is therefore treated differently.--Ipatrol (talk) 00:23, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
