Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 73.125.116.150, made test edits on the page Italy and the colonization of the Americas which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. If 73.125.116.150 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Iryna Harpy (talk) 22:12, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2018[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Italy and the colonization of the Americas. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm ZLEA. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Agenore Frangipani have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. ZLEA Talk\Contribs 19:55, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am adding data about the books he wrote: and all are referenced, please check it. Paul H.

Hello, Paul H. Actually, they're not referenced. Texts by an 'Agenore Frangipani' exist, but you've provided no reliable secondary sources demonstrating them to be by the same person as the biography, nor have you offered an explanation as to their significance in relation to what Frangipani was notable for. If you believe the content you wish to add merits inclusion, please start a discussion on the article's talk page and present sources verifying these writings to be by the same Agenore Frangipani as is the subject of the biography. Thank you for your patience. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 19:41, 4 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

November 2018[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Grand Hotel Tripoli has been reverted.
Your edit here to Grand Hotel Tripoli was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://dadfeatured.blogspot.com/2018/10/was-capital-of-italian-libya.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Bay of Kotor. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it.
