Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 51.7.116.157, has made edits that do not conform to our policies and therefore have been reverted. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors. If you'd like to experiment with the syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask the Help Desk, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome! Nomian (talk) 01:20, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Template:List of great powers by date, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. First reach a consensus through a Request for Comment before restoring your preferred version. Nomian (talk) 05:40, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
The page has been stable for weeks on the previous version and stopped people adding in their own preferred country by limiting this to before the cold war. It isn't even my preferred version but it seemed to have worked. Why did you revert and not go to the talk page?--51.7.116.157 (talk) 15:35, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
