Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to White chocolate, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. jp×g 04:07, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Sourcing for ADHD[edit]

This edit was reverted as unconstructive because a) it introduces speculation about neurotransmitters and their effect on specific brain structures, and b) it was not sourced by a WP:MEDRS review. Such a statement requires a degree of certainty that - to my knowledge - doesn't eist in the medical review literature. --Zefr (talk) 02:10, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your vision of drafts[edit]

Hello. Recently, you told me to “not create drafts for potential events”. You would be wrong on that. That is why it is a draft. We know the event will probably (and is) happening. If I had created it in article space, it would be ok for that comment of “don’t create articles for potential events”, which is true. But drafts can be used to create and gather info for potential events, especially when major things are happening related to them such as a state of emergency being declared. Variants of SARS-CoV-2: interpretation of scientific results[edit]

Hi. In this table, you should know that 1% higher = 1.01 relative rate, and 1% lower = 0.99 relative rate. A relative rate of 1 means no change, so 0% higher/lower. So, a rate of 2.52 is 152% higher, not 252% higher. The reference, which is written in English by non-natives and is still in pre-print and is therefore not very reliable, actually uses language incorrectly when it uses both expressions interchangeably. When you changed Moderately to Moderate-to-significantly you are also not using English the scientific way. Significance in scientific articles refers to statistical significance. A significant difference means that a different value is probably different, whereas an insignificant difference is not that likely and may be actually be simply due to sampling noise. It is possible that two values are close enough to be different, and yet the difference is not statistically significant, that is, one cannot readily conclude they are really different. So "significantly higher" means "there is a high chance it is indeed higher", but it could be only a little higher, it does not necessarily imply "a lot higher". So "moderate but significant" in scientific sources means "there is a high chance it is indeed higher and we estimate it to be moderately higher". --Fernando Trebien (talk) 17:42, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Ftrebien: Thanks for the clarification. Definitely am going to have to go a bit slower in amending the table in the future. 47.20.177.163 (talk) 16:20, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Ytoyoda. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Anthony Bouchard, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Ytoyoda (talk) 18:44, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

2021 Taliban offensive[edit]

Hi, I reverted your edit about district numbers because it lacked a citation. I see now that you've added a citation, it is still incorrect as the citation gives the number of Taliban controlled districts in Afghanistan, not the number of districts captured in this offensive. With regards to other parts of my edit they were an update as my edit summary said. I see that you are new editor and are assuming good faith in your edits. I advise you to do the same during your interaction with other editors before accusing them of giving false edit summaries. Viewsridge (talk) 18:47, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Viewsridge: Noted. Will change the wording so that it clarifies that the Taliban CONTROL the district number and have not actually captured them. 47.20.177.163 (talk) 18:50, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Hello, thank you for your contributions. I noticed that you changed the variety of English from British English to American English in the article, Bactria–Margiana Archaeological Complex. The article was written in British English, and had a clearly visible template in the main editing window that specified that the article was in EngvarB since 2016. The encyclopedia is written by international editors, who use many variants of English, including American, British, Canadian, India, Australian, Pakistani, etc. Please read WP:ENGVAR for more information. In general, if the original article was was written in a specific variant, we leave it that way. Also sometimes, altho not always, if an article is on a subject of a particular English speaking country, we honor that variant. Personally, I wish more editors would tag the talk pages with the variant they use when creating an article, but that does not happen that frequently. I will go ahead and do that on the Bactria article so you can see the template I add. Netherzone (talk) 00:55, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. GabberFlasted (talk) 14:57, 19 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 years for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Zhomron per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Zhomron.
