Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Drinking song has been reverted.

A barnstar for you![edit]

Thanks for your work!

(When you have finished removal of "essayed" and are looking for another project, might I suggest satellite rights were "bagged" ? ) -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 22:12, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Essay[edit]

In your zeal, I hope you will consider that "essayed" is sometimes intended, in the sense of "tried" or "ventured"–e.g. a mezzo-soprano essaying a soprano role, or, in another of the edits I found, a child actor essaying adult roles. Hosenrollen (talk) 15:35, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

My intention is: I do not change verbatim quotes. I do not change those entries where 'essayed' or similar is used in connection with essays. I only change entries where 'essayed' is used as an archaic synonym for 'playing' as in 'playing a role'. I apologize for the child actor edit - that was a mistake. I looked at it and I thought the context was actually 'playing', as in 'successfully playing', as this child actor was unusual. Please revert the edit and thank you for checking.45sixtyone (talk) 21:16, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bagging[edit]

Hi, as with the above comment on "Essay" I've amended your edit to Ian Taylor (footballer) as when it comes to goals you score them, you don't win them. KingStrato (talk) 13:44, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are right. I tried to avoid using the word 'score' too many times but my alternative is not the best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 45sixtyone (talkcontribs)

Commas[edit]

I see you have removed a series of commas in this revision of Kangana Ranaut's article. Though there is nothing wrong in doing that, I would like you to know that the original placement of commas is also quite correct, as explained in MOS:SERIAL. --Krimuk90/ 08:50, 13 March 2015 (UTC) Hi Krimuk90, to clarify: You are ok if a comma is removed from "He is tall, and dark" but it can be left in or out but must be consistent if it is a serial comma "He is tall, dark, and handsome" or "He is tall, dark and handsome". Would that be right? I couldn't find your talk page so I am answering here.45sixtyone (talk) 11:23, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I think it's correct either way. Just wanted to point that out. Cheers! --Krimuk90/ 05:36, 14 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good job[edit]

Removing particular word from an article searching for it all along and you are doing it with ease..highly commendable..keep it up! MeeGhaMan (talk) 18:24, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kate McClymont, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bill Moss. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
