Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 45.33.13.52, made test edits on the page Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. If 45.33.13.52 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! No personal attacks[edit]

See wp:No personal attacks. Personal attacks are not acceptable on Wikipedia. Talk discuss the content, not the person. Jim1138 (talk) 09:52, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Does not matter if you think it is a personal attack or not, it’s not your talk page and therefore does not give you juristiction to remove a person’s comments.
Please read wp:talk page guidelines, specifically WP:TALKNO. Removal of personal attacks is allowed per wp:NPA: Derogatory comments about other editors may be removed by any editor. Do not restore that comment. Jim1138 (talk) 10:00, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
See wp:BLANKING specifically For IP editors, templates and notes left to indicate other users share the same IP address. This includes schools, military installations, WiFi hotspots, and other shared IP addresses, but not dynamic IP addresses. Very old content on these pages may be removed. Jim1138 (talk) 10:02, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Strike out, not related to PA ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 10:08, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Again, it is not your personal talk page and you are acting as if you are a police man and have authority over what a person says. You do not. If the user who was contacted feels it is a personal attack let them report it. You are making accusations towards other users. Also if you read the link you just posted it says USER TALK PAGE. Not a page like The Big Bang Theory’s talk page.
WP:BLANKING is not related in this case. Personal attacks should be removed from any talk pages anyway. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 10:07, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia has policy about that sort of thing as pointed out to you above. Any editor is "authorized" to remove personal attacks. Please read it. Jim1138 (talk) 10:09, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello and again as I said that is not Jim’s call or yours Abe. If the User who you are claiming is being personally attacked reports it than do something. Until than you shouldn’t be remocing people’s comments.
I repeat. Derogatory comments about other editors may be removed by any editor. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 10:13, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I REPEAT. Talk:The Big Bang Theory IS NEITHER OF YOUR TWO’s PERSONAL USER TALK PAGE AND THEREFORE UNLESS A REPORT IS POSTED BY USER WHO IS SUPPOSDEY ATTACKED NEITHER OF YOU HAVE YHE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANOTHER USERS COMMENT.

What Wikipedia policy supports your position? I cited the policy for removal above. Please cite Wikipedia wp:policy. Anarchy is verboten. Anarchists will find themselves wp:blocked. Jim1138 (talk) 10:23, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Let’s see the fact that all Wikipedia policies you have shown all revolve around personal user’s talk pages and say nothing about a page’s talk page.
Why do you remove my message? I am just saying that administrator's intervention may be needed. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 10:30, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If an admin is needed than let the user who you two are claiming is being personally attacked file a report on the comment. You two intimidating me with threats about disruptive editing is only weakening your two’s case °and only proving me right cause, and I only means this as a statement not a direct personal attack, only children turn to threats when they aren’t getting their way. We are adults here and should be able to compromise and the compromise should be the comment cannot be removed unless reported by the user that you two are claiming is supposedly being attacked.
How can you "assume" we are adults? If one has common sense, one would have reverted that personal attack and (maybe) file a report at ANI already. Also, WP:NPA says Do not make personal attacks anywhere on Wikipedia. "Anywhere", ok? ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 11:06, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
