Flagicon[edit]

Please be aware that {{flagicon}} is not suppose to be used in video game articles. From Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines:

Within the infobox, release dates should be provided using the {{vgrelease}} template. Even if this format is not used, do not use flag icons in the infobox, instead, state the region/country by name or by their 2 or 3-letter country codes.

--Silver Edge (talk) 05:41, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{Vgrelease}} works fine, and should be used instead of {{Flagicon}} as per WP:VG/DATE. I'm guessing that you're referring to the Sonic Shuffle article, which I have fixed. --Silver Edge (talk) 23:13, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to PlayStation 3.[edit]

You are aware that you can actually connect 7 Sixaxis controls to the PS3 right?

If not, have a read here Chan Yin Keen | Talk 07:01, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article talks about the PS3 as a home console already out in retail, not as a prototype. It can connect 7 Sixaxis controls wirelessly via Bluetooth. It's 7 because Bluetooth technology allows for up to 8 devices to be connected together, thus one PS3, 7 Sixaxis controls. Not many games are going to support that many controls, but the option is definitely there without the use of a multitap. Thanks for the reply though. Speedy deletion of Galbadia Hotel[edit]

A tag has been placed on Galbadia Hotel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ~**_mustafarox_**~ (talk) 01:52, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Guitar Hero World Tour, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You seem to be confusing GHWT with Guitar Hero: On Tour, the NDS game by Vicarious Visions. 21655 ταλκ/01ҁ 22:00, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did to Template:Guitar Hero series, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. MASEM 23:18, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

...So? You still repeatedly changed the GHWT page to reflect the stats of its DS counterpart. Still vandalism, as I see it. 21655 ταλκ/01ҁ 21:35, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of Image:Harpy 0001.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Harpy 0001.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:13, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Harpy_0001.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Harpy_0001.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rettetast (talk) 15:17, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Image:Harpy 0001.jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:Harpy 0001.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free image with no fair use rationale uploaded after May 4, 2006 which has been tagged as not having a rationale for more than 7 days.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Harpy 0001.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. AfD nomination of Harpy (Puyo Puyo)[edit]

I have nominated Harpy (Puyo Puyo), an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Harpy (Puyo Puyo). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
