Thanks for pointing out perx. Although that's of course simply a mere essay, containing the advice or opinions of one or more Wikipedia contributors. It is not one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, as it has not been thoroughly vetted by the community. Some essays represent only minority viewpoints. That's a lot different than wp:gng. Which is a guideline. Quite different. Really not at all comparable. But why in the world would you try to chill my similarly pointing out wp:before? I see no reason for that request - and it strikes me as unhelpful. Your note on perx was quite helpful, as pointing out an essay of what might be a minority view, so again I appreciate it.
