April 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Carroll County, Maryland, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:41, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thank you for the opportunity to respond. As I posted in the edit summary, the ORIGINAL text was not supported by references 21 thru 24. Mr. Aitcheson was not a priest when he committed the crimes indicated, thus attributing the crimes to a priest is misleading. Secondly, the author is trying to leave the impression that Carroll County is indiffernt to racism. However, Mr. Aitcheson was procesecuted and served time and had a fine. [I can't see the refernce because you've already changed it again., really.] And Mt. Airy was opposed to the fliers that the KKK was passing out but could legally do nothing. Just read the references already.
Anyhow. Just read the references. They clearly do not support the original text. If you, who clearly lives elsewhere, wants to paint Carroll County as racist... have at it. Nobody really cares what Wikipedia states. So, leave it as inaccurate. thats on you now. 2601:154:C300:1D30:190F:4086:8928:B6B3 (talk) 21:03, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
