August 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm John from Idegon. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Presentation High School have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. The information on the scandal requires discussion on what and how to present it. However, blanking the athletic section is nothing but vandalism. Wikipedia content is decided via consensus. Consensus requires agreement. Committing vandalism hurts your credibility, which reduces the chances of you forming an agreement that satisfies you. Hi John, Thanks for letting me know my edit of athletics section was in violation of wiki's rules, it seemed to be extraneous to me and in line with the recent edits you'd made the the page to remove unrelated information. 24.155.229.89 (talk)
Please sign your posts. Information on athletics is easily sourcable to reliable secondary sources. Information on school clubs is not. John from Idegon (talk) 00:08, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Gotcha. There's easy sources for the Performing Arts and Robotics sections as well, so I've added citations equivalent to the one present for the Athletics section since that seems to have been the issue. 24.155.229.89 (talk) 04:04, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Presentation High School, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 04:15, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

So what's the difference between the way the Athletics section is cited and the way the Extracurriculars section is cited? Why did you remove one but not the other? 24.155.229.89 (talk) 04:18, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
