Service at Arkansas Geological Survey[edit]
I believe that at sometime between 1886 and 1893 Hoover served as an assistant geologist to the Arkansas state geologist Dr. John C. Branner. I can look for more references if needed but this info comes from AGS-IC-18D. GeoTom123 (talk) 02:34, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
