Unblock[edit]

Clearing an autoblock

Due to the nature of the block applied we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:

  1. If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
  2. Try to edit the Sandbox.
  3. If you are still blocked, copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "IP blocked?" section. This is usually hidden within the "What do I do now?" section. If so, just click the "[show]" link to the right hand side to show this text.
  4. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.

If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you can resume editing. Max Semenik (talk) 18:32, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This blocked user's request to have autoblock on their IP address lifted has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request.

Decline reason: Your blocked by a range block. Please use {{unblock}} to request an unblock. PhilKnight (talk) 00:52, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I will try again:

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

2017NewYearNewMe (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I have been blocked without notice for a shared IP. I would like for my block to be appealed or for an explanation why this shared IP is blocked. I have not vandalized any pages and have tried to make constructive contributions for the past week.

Decline reason:

The block log shows - 00:54, 20 January 2017 Bbb23 blocked 165.166.144.0/20 with an expiration time of 3 months (account creation blocked) : proxy server, cloud services). This is a checkuser block, only a checkuser can lift it. It appears you are using a proxy server (VPN?), which is not allowed. Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:10, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Disambiguation link notification for April 11[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Blonded Radio, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Babyface, Joe Newman and SZA. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:57, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Libya government[edit]

Hi Since April 2016, only the Sarraj government is recognized. [1]. We should remove Libya from the map. --Panam2014 (talk) 18:14, 6 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sources on the Qatar diplomatic crisis page says the Tobruk government cut ties but the UN government did not. 2017NewYearNewMe (talk) 18:16, 6 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop the pov pushing. The Tobrouk government is recognized by any country and all ambassadors comes from Tripoli. Libya should be removed. --Panam2014 (talk) 18:22, 6 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The article cites the eastern-based government cutting ties... Please use that article's talkpage. 2017NewYearNewMe (talk) 22:44, 6 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Now stop to edit the map without consensus. I am strongly opposed to the livemap. For the rest, you could add the others countries. But I will revert again if you add any livemap. --Panam2014 (talk) 20:46, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Bring to talk page. They described showing the alternative government partially. Don't threaten with constant reverts. Other editors have kept the "livemap". Go to talk page. 2017NewYearNewMe (talk) 20:52, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You must stop you pov pushing. Go in the talk page before editing. I will revert any move. --Panam2014 (talk) 21:04, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop[edit]

Now stop you reverts. I you continue, I will made an administraor noticeboard and you will be blocked like in en wiki. --Panam2014 (talk) 21:32, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Don't edit war[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at File:Qatar diplomatic crisis.svg shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

2017 clashes at the Turkish Ambassador's Residence in Washington, D.C.[edit]

In the situation the police stood between the two sides. This should be then be represented in the chart at the top of the article. Right now it suggests, the police was not neutral, standing on a side for defending the demonstrators.LennBr (talk) 22:32, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Yemeni Civil War infobox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — JJMC89(T·C) 16:12, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Frank Ocean Biking Solo Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:09, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Independence referendum map[edit]

The map is completely wrong, with several countries that have never had a referendum highlighted and many that have had them not highlighted. If you reinsert it again in its current form, I will be blocking you on the grounds of inserting patently false information to an article. Thanks, Number 57 20:41, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
As you disregarded the above warning not to reinsert the map, you are now blocked. If you promise not to readd it, I am happy to unblock you. If you readd it once unblocked, you will be blocked for a longer period. Number 57 20:57, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Catalan Republic Flag[edit]

Hello, 2017NewYearNewMe. Regarding your recent edit of the article Catalonia, the flag included in the infobox is not the flag of the Catalan Republic nor its government, but that one of the independentist movement. The official one is the Senyera. 77.225.54.74 (talk) 15:55, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

November 2017[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Khan Shaykhun chemical attack. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
This page is under additional editing restrictions, as noted on the talk page. In particular, all editors must obtain consensus on the talk page of this article before reinstating any edits that have been challenged (via reversion). If in doubt, don't make the edit.

The article is also under WP:1RR per WP:GS/ISIL. VQuakr (talk) 16:58, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Blonded Radio[edit]

Hello, 2017NewYearNewMe. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Blonded Radio".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 01:50, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:White BIC lighter.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
