User:1boringoldman/sandbox → ? – I am submitting this page to replace the existing bio of Allen Frances. It was rewritten at the request of Dr. Frances and with his consulatation to give a more complete picture of his career which is only a brief stub on the existing page. Merge into Allen Frances. Both versions contain good information, and both have information that the other does not. No point in losing information due to replacing an entire article with a new draft. Steel1943 (talk) 03:39, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. This might actually be the wrong venue to request this be done; however, since an entire article is opting to be replaced, an edit like that would most likely be reverted due to lack of consensus. My vote to "Merge" would possibly be the best option for this request. This might be better requested through the protocol on WP:MERGE. Steel1943 (talk) 03:50, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Strong oppose WP:EDIT, edit the existing article. Displacing articles with new edit histories makes no sense. It makes displaced edit histories all over the place, and no one can tell what's been changed or where old versions are, and have caused way too many problems already with random people moving articles about for no good reason. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 05:12, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
