Help[edit]

Hi, i need your help here please and see this http://books.google.com/books?id=Zc0UAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA170&dq=Vizier+wzr&lr=&hl=ar&cd=5#v=onepage&q=Vizier%20wzr&f=false

I'm not a native speaker of English.. so you can fix the artice better than me.. --Rondiar99 (talk) 16:12, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, I know nothing about the subject, so I can't personally help you. But try the article's talk page - there are a number of WikiProjects that could help. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 16:54, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are in wikipedia.. Be bold --Rondiar99 (talk) 17:02, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But not reckless. Why do you need my help, rather than somebody who knows about the subject? 1ForTheMoney (talk) 17:06, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We already have the sources, We only need an Englishman.. please help us --Rondiar99 (talk) 17:25, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have tried to include your source in the "Etymology" section, but my experience of copy-editing is limited. Still, it might work. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 18:28, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks --Rondiar99 (talk) 00:07, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Identification[edit]

If you don't do the four tildes signature items, does the article go unidentified or can you track now the person if they have an existing login? GotMoney999 (talk) 22:58, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

See this. Using 4 tildes is just a way for people to sign their posts when you edit talk pages, although we can look at the revision history to see who did what. User:SineBot also takes up some of the work, but it's best to sign things yourself. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 23:02, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tip! 99.154.0.165 (talk) 23:15, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My name just changed[edit]

Hi, my name just changed to numbers. What is happening and how can i get rid of it? 99.154.0.165 (talk) 23:19, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Try logging back in if you have an account. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 23:23, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm...oh yeah it logged me back out again. GotMoney999 (talk) 23:32, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RuneScape Peer Review[edit]

I saw that Wikipedia:Peer review/RuneScape/archive6 did not have much in the way of comments, so I added a few just now. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:57, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I unwatched it after it was closed. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 18:16, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewer granted[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 23:38, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I shall enjoy abusing working with the new system. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 23:39, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Absurd (band)[edit]

Hi. I´m checking this article Absurd (band) and I notice than you put the template "refs" a year ago. Someone had add refs. Is steel need the template? I´m updating the spanish WP, so I need to confirm and put there the refs. Thanks.--Andreateletrabajo (talk) 23:30, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What I actually did was use the "needs more references" tag, since large sections of the article were unsourced. As far as I can see, that's still the case - the tag should stay. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 23:50, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. Thanks.--Andreateletrabajo (talk) 00:14, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Victor Matthys Article[edit]

Thanks for "rating" the class of the Victor Matthys article. Appreciate it. Hope we can work together again on something else! Adamdaley (talk) 23:31, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Strictly speaking I shouldn't rate articles because I'm not part of any WikiProject, but obvious Stubs and Starts are fair game to me. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 09:31, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Paul Colin (journalist) Article[edit]

I would like to see if you are able to rate its class for the following article Paul Colin (journalist). I will also be sending the same message to the following users User:AustralianRupert and User:The Bushranger. If you can help with this I'll appreciate it. Adamdaley (talk) 23:38, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:AustralianRupert assessed the article as Start for WikiProject Biography. I'm inclined to go with his assessment due to the issues he notes on the talk page, but if those are resolved, the article should make C-class. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 09:31, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stop reverting[edit]

You're also well past 3RR at this point. I didn't warn you before because you'd acknowledged it on the talk page already. --OnoremDil 15:16, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough. I'm frustrated that one editor won't listen so I'll disengage for more discussion. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 15:17, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I was in the process of listing it at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring before I noticed that you jumped back in again. You might want to comment there...not sure what they'll think looking at the article history. --OnoremDil 15:22, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll list myself there and see what happens. I've never been in such a situation before, nor have I had to deal with such a person. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 15:24, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I understand the frustration, but these huge checks from Jagex help take off the edge a bit. hehe. (Struck in case what I hope was obvious as sarcasm is mistaken as serious by others looking at the situation.) Thanks for adding your comment to the report. Hope it all works out. I think the situation will be quite clear to whichever admin ends up looking at it. --OnoremDil 15:29, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I spotted your little joke but chose not to respond. Unfortunately the user in question seems to feel he's being ganged up on. I guessed this wouldn't end well and my instincts have been proved right. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 16:23, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Józef Kuraś Article[edit]

1ForTheMoney,

Article: Józef Kuraś

I've noticed you've been following my "persondata" attributes on the article talkpages. One article which is named above the "persondata" was placed at the top of the article. I have simply moved it to the bottom of the article and would appreciate if you would take a look at it, while I haven't changed any information about it, just a simple cut and paste job to the bottom. Just would like to see if it's done correctly. Would be appreciated if this was looked at. Adamdaley (talk) 03:34, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that's right. Put it below the external links and before the categories. If you do encounter Persondata, try to fill it out with a description and other information. Lots of them were added by bots so they're missing important info. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 10:53, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You deserve it[edit]

The VG Barnstar
You deserve this barnstar for your many contributions to the runescape article UserDarkJak495 talk orange 00:09, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! 1ForTheMoney (talk) 09:13, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Persondatas[edit]

Dang, you're fast on that persondata stuff. Thanks! Shawn in Montreal (talk) 14:20, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, it comes with a lot of practice. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 14:22, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again, I'll start adding it myself, to save you the trouble. If I understand Wikipedia:Persondata correctly, I still need add a defaultsort, right? Shawn in Montreal (talk) 21:52, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, if the article doesn't have one. Bots normally use defaultsort when adding the person's name to the template, so when it doesn't exist, I've seen examples where the persondata template was added and left completely blank. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 22:09, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you[edit]

Thank you for your helpful edits to the new article I created, at Richard Smith (silent film director). Much appreciated! ;) Cheers, -- Cirt (talk) 20:43, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 22:15, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gastropods[edit]

Didn't know that chitons were within the remit of WP gastropods now... Talk:Septemchitonina! Martin (Smith609 – Talk) 20:34, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I felt that would be a bad choice, but I remember it being tagged as a mollusc-stub, and that article comes under gastropods. Oh well, easily changed. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 20:39, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You deserve this too[edit]

The Userpage Barnstar
Seeing your userpage a long time ago made me style my userpage after yours. --43?9enter 06:27, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I'm sure you could do better, though. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 08:22, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As the transition to collapsible navboxes nears, I thank you (with the barnstar) for inspiring my beginnings. --43?9enter 00:02, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I've used collapsible templates for my userboxes for a while now, after playing around with various methods of getting them to look tidy on the page. Recently, I decided that having them sit slap-bang in the middle of the page was silly (plus another, smaller, more technical reason) so I found a way of making them sit on the right with the text wrapping around them. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 09:11, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
