Your edits on 2018–19 Coupe de France[edit]

Hi, thanks for your edits on 2018–19 Coupe de France. However, could you please follow previous editing consensus on these articles:

  • wikilink all scorers names, even if they are currently redlinks - especially don't remove information where this is sourced, and replace it with just a surname.
  • wikilink on all clubs step 5 and above, even if they are currently redlinks.

Thanks, Gricehead (talk) 18:08, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Further on Coupe de France editing[edit]

Please do not add unsourced and unconfirmed information to the article, such as you did by adding the stadium for the Crest-Aouste 8th round tie. This has not been confirmed yet, and is not sourced on the FFF.fr site. Also, please consider using edit summaries with your edits, as it helps other users understand what you are doing. Cheers, Gricehead (talk) 10:19, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please also use the article talk page to discuss any issues about the article. GiantSnowman 19:52, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

December 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm CASSIOPEIA. I noticed that in this edit to 2018–19 Top 14 season, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 15:38, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 2019 Tour de France, Stage 12 to Stage 21, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Your recent editing history at 2019 Tour de France, Stage 12 to Stage 21 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hello, I'm TheEpTic. I noticed that in this edit to 2019–20 Coupe de France, you removed all the content from the page. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
