Hi, and thanks for your question. Biologists are firmly agreed that spontaneous generation doesn't occur. The origin of life, abiogenesis, took place under very different conditions, and would be fiercely outcompeted by modern life-forms so it cannot recur continuously as the prescientific theory supposed.
