Flag of South Carolina[edit]

Please stop adding the section about using the flag as a stand-in for the Confederate battle flag becaues "you wish to avoid the odium".

Well you haven't done a very good job of hiding your beliefs, odium or not. I don't care if the "Sons of the Confederacy" approved your edit, you'd better provide some detailed 3rd party sources if you want that line to stand.

I also suggest if you really feel that way, that you come out of the closet and proudly wave the battle flag like all the other ignorant rednecks around here.

I can't even imagine why someone with no connection to South Carolina is bothering to edit the article on it's flag. The idea that someone would use my state flag as a stand in is both insulting to South Carolinians and insulting to rednecks who would never hide their Southern pride. That alone makes me believe that there's very little truth to your statement, and that it's even less notable if you personally choose to show your "southern pride" in that fasion.
