September 2017[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Ernie Sigley. — nihlus kryik  (talk) 06:31, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Re this edit. Despite my best attempts to invite you to discuss this, you have now made this edit three times in rapid succession and so are in breach of WP:3RR. Can you not see that an opening sentence of "Ottis Dewey "Slim" Whitman (January 20, 1923 – June 19, 2013), born as Otis Dewey Whitman, was .." has unnecessary repetition, made worse by the emboldening? The original version "Slim Whitman (January 20, 1923 – June 19, 2013), born as Otis Dewey Whitman Jr, was .." was a stable version agreed by consensus. Would you kindly discuss your proposed version at the Talk:Slim Whitman? Martinevans123 (talk) 15:47, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!   — Jeff G. ツ 15:21, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. Recent edit to Waiter.com[edit]

Information iconPlease refrain from making edits involving personal observations, and making edits to paragraphs using faulty grammar. I had to undo several edits to the page because of poor formatting and bad grammar, as well as disrupting the information already present. Refrain from making any further edits until you can brush up on English grammar. Kaylahawk (talk) 23:17, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Wilf Carter (musician), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 09:08, 15 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
