April 2013[edit]

Hello, アブサン. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Guronasyon Foundation Inc. National High School, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • You need not declare your conflict of interest, but we recommend it.
  • Do not edit articles about yourself, your organization, or your competitors. Do not edit related articles. (Exceptions.)
  • Post suggestions and sources on the article's talk page, or create a draft in your user space.
  • Your role is to summarize, inform and reference — not to promote, sell, or whitewash.
  • If writing a draft, write without bias, as if you don't work for the company or personally know the subject.
  • Have us review your draft.
  • Work with us and we'll work with you.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:41, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a publisher of school prospectuses. Such details as the times of lessons and a list of the buildings in a school are no doubt of importance to pupils and potential pupils, but not to readers of an encyclopaedia article about the school. An image or media file has been removed from your userpage, user talk page, or other page because it was licensed as non-free. Wikipedia's non-free policy states that Copyrighted images under fair use are only allowed to be used in articles about the subject of the image, and only if no free equivalent is available. For example they are not allowed to be used on user pages, in lists, or (typically) in biographies of living people. As a result, although users are often given a great amount of latitude in the type of content that is allowed on their user pages, it is requested that you abide by this policy. Feel free, however, to add images and media files licensed under other terms. For more information, see Wikipedia's non-free content policy and an accompanying essay on the removal of non-freeimages. Further use of these images will be considered vandalism, and shall be treated as such. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Safiel (talk) 15:42, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do NOT restore that image to your user page. It is NOT a free picture and you may not use it on your user page, per the policy I posted above. Safiel (talk) 17:38, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to Fliptop has been reverted, as it removed all content from the page without explanation. Please do not do this, as it is considered vandalism; use the sandbox for testing. If you think the page should be deleted, see here for what to do. Thank you. Deadbeef (talk) 02:24, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fliptop: The First Filipino Rap Battle League requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Safiel (talk) 23:22, 25 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
