I added this class pretty late and my first time of class was two weeks ago when I was assigned into the Copyleft group. My group mates were absent last week so I did not have a chance to discuss with them which articles we will decide to make contributions to on Wikipedia. If I were to complete this project by myself, I would like to contribute to some articles on Wikipedia that are related to my major, which is Economics and Statistics. To be more specific, I would like to make some contributions to the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) page by changing some information so that it is up to date. I have noticed that a lot of the things on the CFA page were based on last year’s information including the requirements, fees and curriculum. I would like to update those information so that they are as recent as possible using the CFA official website as the main source for reference. I would also specifically expand the information in the Curriculum section so that it is more comprehensive and thorough. I would do so by finding and adding missing curriculum or subjects, and add more hyperlinks to the subjects so that viewers of this CFA page will find it convenient to browse about a specific subject that they are interested in finding more information on. I will make adjustment to my proposal as I talk more about it with my group mates.

Justin, although you did add this class late - it's up to you to stay with the rest of your peers. There have been opportunities of office hours that you should have gone to, offered by both Joni and Max and myself through scheduling. If you look in the long term project tab you'll see that the instructions are specific to finding an article that deals with the intersection of copyright/piracy and governmental public policy, so I'm unsure on your idea to contribute to the Chartered Financial Analyst page. Go to office hours soon and also work with other people in your group in order to find a more relevant article. Check minus. PatBerger (talk) 07:16, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
