Crew D would like to request to do our Wikipedia page project on "Outing in Hip Hop." we would like to our page on this because we believe it is a very notable process within hip hop. a Masculine, heterosexual, and male performance is preferred in hip hop and it is a very common way tear down other artists by starting the rumor that they are gay, whether true or not, it works and there is a very interesting phenomenon as to why. There are many readings and sources we've discussed in class that can back this page that can show the complexity of "outing in Hip Hop" as an extension of homophobia and sexism in hip hop.
