Messages from Friends

hi yuan... thanx or cleaning up my user boxes!!!:-) I used wikipedia to find out about xsquared +1=0(its under imaginary unit) by!!

Template:User Heart

Hello Yuanchosaan. In accordance with the userbox migration plan, userboxes that are controversial or unencyclopedia are to be moved to user space. I have copied the code of Template:User Heart and placed it at User:Yuanchosaan/User Heart, and will shortly tag the original template page for deletion. Thanks for understanding. Picaroon 03:57, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Kangaroo is new WP:ACOTF

Merry Christmas. You voted for kangaroo as Australian collaboration. It has been selected, so please help to improve it towards featured article status. Thankyou. Scott Davis Talk 14:02, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

One Question...

How would I be able to take credit for the userboxes I create? ChromeWulf ZX 19:55, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

It's easy. Just use the userbox migration policy. Instead of using a template notice when you are naming the box put instead:

User:{Your user name}/Userbox/User {name of userbox}

This should make your box come up as a red link when you click preview. Then open up that link and copy and paste the userbox onto that page just as you would do for a template placing userbox instead of the name you just wrote. Save the page. Now whenever you type in {{User:{your user name}/ etc, etc, the userbox will show up. To show the link just put the brackets around it. For example:

User:Yuanchosaan/Userbox/User Heart is the name of the userbox and the link to the page.

And

This user is in possession of a heart.

is the actual userbox.

Hope you find this useful. Thanks for making the box. P.S: Can you please delete the original template page? It has to be deleted according to the policy. Thanks. Yuanchosaan 08:05, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

All right! Thanks a lot! That really helped. Also, the template has been put up for deletion. One more thing: Would I have to do the same for other userboxes I create? (I have about 4 towards the bottom of the userbox ideas page). Thanks, again. ChromeWulf ZX 03:16, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Re: KH source

It's been so long, I'm not sure. I may have gotten it from the official JP site, although there is something similar on the US site. Go to http://na.square-enix.com/games/kingdomhearts/ and click the original KH. Then look at the bottom for the quote. --Zeno McDohl (talk) 23:08, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Hey TZ

Hello TZ. How are you, what did you think of the maths test today. For some reason I can't locate my Khorne Account, but if you would like to try, look it up under wikipage Necrons, under the discussion.=).

Anyway, this ip is not mine, so if you would like to contact me, do so at school, until I find my account.

Any, Anyway I found a link to the square palindrome problem http://www.fengyuan.com/palindrome.html, look around it abit, it was intended for computing however if you use it will work and you'll get 1,2,0,4 from which to make up numbers.

To finish off...Happy new year.

And I'll beat you tomorrow in cheat..hehe.

P.S remember , now solve this! 6x^2-8x+27=0

Have FUN

Are you a Wikipediholic Test

Hi Yuanchosaan,

I saw you proclaiming yourself as 2nd in the Wikipediholic Test. I checked over your contributions, and you only have less than 800 edits, from this, your score seemed unbelieveable. The highest possible score is about 1038670, which is significantly lower than what you had posted. I suspect cheating from you, in which your score will be reverted. Please discuss this matter at the project's talkpage, or on my talk page.

 Smcafirst | Chit-Chat | SIGN  posted at 19:08, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

P.S. You will get the elephants! That is, if the score you posted are fake.

Your score is now reverted, and you will get the elephants!

I have left a message on your talk page and the test talk page. Thank you for your concern. YuanchosaanSalutations! 08:38, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

I understand that cyborg question is kind of misleading, and therefore I changed the score value of those questions!  Smcafirst | Chit-Chat | SIGN  posted at 20:10, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi. I think some people are taking this test a little too seiously. I mean, nobody's a real 'borg, and this is not meant to be literal. I don't think the elephants are literal either, and I don't know who thought of it first, maybe we should ask questions giving points who know who thought of these, if they did so themselves, etc. I mean, they could probably add an elephant on their talkpage, but actually doing the elephant is capital punishment, and I don't think wikipedians are allowed to give these, because death threats are not allowed and could get the foundation sued ;( . Anyway, they could get scared and think "aah! what elephants?!", so the it. Anyway, this is a humour test, and those scores have been lowered. Thanks. AstroHurricane001(Talk+Contribs+Ubx) 23:37, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Never mind. At least it's all cleared up now. But right now I've got to go play whack-a-vandal. YuanchosaanSalutations! 06:25, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey Yuanchosaan,

I love the template you have created, in fact, it saves some time instead of typing paragraphs. I could make use of the time to edit articles. Good job! Infobox input

Hi Yuanchosaan,

There is a debate that involves infobox design and standardization to replace manually constructed infoboxs. You may have missed this post from 52 pickup at WikiProject Infobox but it bears repeating and as a member of the project, your input would be appreciated.

Instead of repeating all the points, I'll just direct you to the discussion here. In the interests of consistency, and taking on a few new ideas for infobox design, I would like as many people as possible to get involved.—MJCdetroit 00:58, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
