Quentin Elias[edit]

Official "Quentin Elias Bio"

Although born in Mende, Quentin was raised by his mother and older sister in the slums of Marseille, France on the Mediterranean Sea. Quentin’s mother required both of her children to participate in activities that would keep them off the dangerous streets. Quentin participated in sports and performance arts. At age 15, Quentin moved to Paris and worked odd jobs while spending his energy auditioning for singing or dancing roles. In 1996, he was lucky enough to persevere over hundreds of other candidates for the chance to be a member of the newly formed four member boy band Alliage.

Alliage was a huge, overnight success and Quentin easily filled the shoes of lead singer and resident heartthrob. Together, the band achieved sales totaling more than 5 Million Certified RIAA receipts. Alliage recorded three albums and had six singles chart in the Top 5. They toured the world and performed at over 1,000 sold out concerts. They outranked other international musicians and entertainers of the era such as Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, and a host of other groups. But, after four years, Quentin wanted to move in a different direction artistically and left the band to start his career as a solo artist.

Quentin moved to New York City where he began working with notable music industry insiders such as Nile Rogers, Ernie Lake and Junior Vasquez and, in 2001, recorded and released “Always the Last”. Continuing to perform and record, Quentin released the maxi single “Serve It Up” in 2005 and the solo album “What If I” in 2006. In 2007, working with J.Marty of the Beatdoctorz and Flash Sanchez from Electro Boy Inc. Records, Quentin recorded new songs and began re-working some previously unreleased material. This soon lead to the collection of albums simply titled “Love Confusion-The Singles” and Quentin Elias Remixed”. As 2009 came to a close, Quentin released the video single “For You” directed by Carlos Arias.

QUENTIN ELIAS SOLO ARTIST 2010-2013

Quentin hit the studio, feeling the desire to evolve into a more mature artist. Moving away from electronic sound and going back to basics with a full set of musicians, Quentin reinvented himself with more rock pop mainstream sound. This led to the release of singles “For You”, “So Far” and other tracks during these rock sessions. Trying not to neglect his dance club fan base and his faithful following in FRANCE, Quentin recorded “Give Me Some More” with Flash Sanchez which hit the iTunes Top 100 Downloadable dance charts.

At this time, there seemed to be a huge calling in FRANCE for Quentin. People wanted to know what had become of him as an artist. French TV filmed and aired a documentary on Quentin and this soon lead to a return to FRANCE for the “Quentin Elias (Re Invented)” tour in 2011. Taking up temporary residency in Los Angeles, Quentin returned to the studio with long time collaborator Flash Sanchez to create the concept and musical direction of the tour. The result was reinvented versions of some classic Alliage hits along with newly recorded material. As the tour took place, the singles were simultaneously released. The reinvented version of ‘Cruel Summer” hit Sweden’s iTunes Top 100 Downloadable singles chart, peaking at #79 in August, 2011. The reinvented EP also consisted of new versions of ‘Biala” and “Le Temps Qui Court” from Quentin’s days with Alliage. A newly recorded rock EP “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” included covers of Adele’s hit single “Rolling In The Deep” and Mary J. Blige’s “I Can Do Bad”, as well as “What’s Done Is Done”, “So Far”, “For You” and previously recorded material from Quentin’s debut album “What if I?”, giving them a new rock pop sound.

After two successful tours in FRANCE during 2011 and 2012, Quentin returned in 2013 with his “Justify 2013” tour. Quentin had finally become the artist he was destined to be and he no longer had to probe himself as a solo artist. His eyes were set to conquer the world. With the help of a new management team in FRANCE and his already existing team in the US, Quentin definitely had become one of the most memorable artists of our time.

THE FINAL CHAPTER 2014
