a) As a student at Williams, I am required to take a three week course for a period of our academic school year called Winter Study. For the course that I am enrolled in, Solving Math Problems with Computers (CSCI 12) the students are required to attain proficiency in editing Wikipedia. As such, I will be editing Wikipedia for this course.
b) I have chosen to take CSCI 12 for Winter Study because I believe that programming has become a big part in today's world and will probably play a large role in my future profession. As someone who aspires to major in the sciences, I realize that using programming to run simulations is an essential part of being a great scientist.
c) A few topics of personal interest which might see my Wikipedia editing skills are perhaps some musical artists: Rise Against, Taylor Swift, Good Old War, Mumford and Sons, Dispatch, The Black Keys etc. and recently I have found myself playing quite a bit of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, so that page might see my editing as well.
