User:UberScienceNerd/Wikipedian Philosophy/Wikipedia Guidelines in Biblical Terms

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As with all religious texts, the Bible contains many things that some people don't believe in. Therefore, it is not in the NPOV. However, it does have wise words that can be applied (and should be obeyed) on Wikipedia. These verses are from the New International Version.

A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions. Proverbs 18:2

Nobody wants to be a fool. Don't air your own opinions in articles. Instead, seek real knowledge. See WP:NOR

You shall not steal. Exodus 20:15

Whatever you write on Wikipedia goes into the public domain. It belongs to everyone, so do not try to claim it as your own. See WP:OWN

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedon to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13

This is a wiki, so you are able to make whatever changes you like to the text in articles. However, WP:IAR does not mean it's permissible to make wrongful edits. See WP:DUH!
