i've been around since the early days of wikipedia, but am a very infrequent contributor, usually to sailing topics. I am not up to speed on all the formalities and wiki procedures, so just try to excercise some patience and take some pity on my entries. my basic philosophy is to get important info on the page, and hopefully some of the wiki literati can clean it up.
