Hello, I am user Thiotrix,
a German biologist with Diploma and ph.D in biology, specialized on plant systematics and plant ecology.
I write articles for the English and the German Wikipedia, and contribute to Wikispecies. My focus is on family Chenopodiaceae / Amaranthaceae s.l. and on marine algae.
For the Wiki Commons, I work on several families by adding taxonavigation sections, links to databases and interwiki-links to all species. I help categorizing the large bulk of uncategorized media of organisms, and I upload photographs of plants, marine algae, insects and protected areas.
