Real Life

I'm male, around 40, husband and father. For a living I work as a process engineer in power plant design.

I'm German, but I've lived and worked in many places around the world for longer and shorter periods. Currently I'm living in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany (GMT+1).

My main fields of interest are:

• Energy
• Mining
• Mills

... and the history of these.

Virtual Life

I learned the ropes of wikis as a contributor of several PC-gaming-related wikis in 2005. Since 2008 I'm a regular in the German Wikipedia and since 2009 on Commons. In the English Wikipedia I do mostly minor edits such as adding or correcting interwiki links.
