The VivoBook pro15 is a line of Asus introduced in August 2017.[1]This product packs with specifications like Intel's new 7th Generation processor, either the Core i7-7700HQ or the Core i7-7300HQ, Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1050 Graphics.[2]The Design of this Product is borrowed from the Asus Zenbook series and is available in gold, with a brushed aluminium finish..[3]

Design[edit]
The Vivobook pro has a compact design and thin bezels around the screen, the pro is shown with a aluminum body on the website, but it's not completely made out of aluminum. Only the lid cover, edges and interior are mettalic(as per the source), and with brushed texture, both the sides up and underbelly is made from a smooth piece of plastic. It weights at 4.2 lbs and is grippy.[5]

Keyboard[edit]
The keyboard of Pro 15 is standard for an Asus multimedia laptop, with main keys, some directional keys and NumPad section. Moreover the keyboard has backlit. According to the official website, the trackpad is made of their standard plastic made Asus Touchpads,and a fingerprint sensor is integrated within the trackpad for N580 but not for M580.[6]
Screen[edit]
The screen of Pro 15 is a matte 15.6-inch screen on the VivoBook Pro line with a choice of a few different panels.The display is 4K Ultra-high-definition (UHD) Philips LP156UD1-SPB2 panel, but a RGBW panel with a pentile matrix, which takes a toll on color reproduction and accuracy, the maximum Brightness is 226CD/M2.[7]
Performance and Hardware[edit]
The VivoBook Pro can handle casual activities and can tackle demanding loads and games and is available in a multiple configurations,the variants are:one has the cobfigurations like Core i7-7700HQ processor, Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD and 2 TB 2.5″ HDD, and the other one with a core i5-7330HQ processor, Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics, 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, a 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD, CPU and GPU are soldered on the motherboard, there are two DIMM slots on this laptop, so it can take a total of up to 32 GB of RAM, the 1050 graphics can’t handle UHD gaming.[8]

Heat, Connectivity and speakers[edit]
The VivoBook Pro is deigned with an air intake to cool the CPU, besides the CPU averaging 85 C in continuous demanding loads and the GPU not going over 80 C, the audio system includes a set of stereo Harman Kardon speakers, they are loud (up to 82 dB at head level), clear starting at around 65 Hz. [10]
Battery[edit]
The Vivobook Pro is having a 47 Wh battery inside, which is actually small for the class, corroborated with the Core i7 CPU and UHD screen on this, it means 4 hours of real-life use and about 6 hours of video, this also includes fast charging, so the smaller battery fully charges from 10 to 100% in about 1 hour and 15 minutes.[11]
