Nephron (talk · contribs) - Nephron is one of our finest contributors in medicine. Professionally, he's a medical student, and soon to be a full fledged MD. He has been editing since July 2005, and has prolifically contributed to our database of medical articles (a comprehensive list is on his user page; examples include Ottawa ankle rules, Distal splenorenal shunt procedure, Circle of Willis, and Hepatorenal syndrome). He's been a fine collaborator on the Clinical Medicine WikiProject, and started three wikiprojects: pathology, nephrology and radiology. Nephron is polite, civil, and a pleasure to collaborate with. He's shown a talent at helping out with disputes; one example is here, where he was the voice of reason in a complex dispute at breast implant.

I think Nephron's specialty knowledge would be in asset in helping administer medical articles, and think his common sense approach to disputes would serve him well in an administrative capacity.
