Nephron (talk · contribs) - Nephron is one of our finest contributors in medicine. Professionally, he's a medical student, and soon to be a full fledged MD. He has been editing since July 2005, and has prolifically contributed to our database of medical articles (a comprehensive list is on his user page; examples include Ottawa ankle rules, Distal splenorenal shunt procedure, Circle of Willis, and Hepatorenal syndrome). He's been a fine collaborator on the Clinical Medicine WikiProject, and started three wikiprojects: pathology, nephrology and radiology. Nephron is polite, civil, and a pleasure to collaborate with. He's shown a talent at helping out with disputes; one example is here, where he was the voice of reason in a complex dispute at breast implant.

I think Nephron's specialty knowledge would be in asset in helping administer medical articles, and think his common sense approach to disputes would serve him well in an administrative capacity. It would be great if we made him an administrator before he became a doctor! -- Samir 19:40, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
