Hi, my name is Steve, andI live in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. I certainly am not Wikipedia's first Tasmanian contributor, regular or otherwise!
I started by making some minor corrections to a couple of pages - cannot remember which one's now, it was probably in about 2003/4. I'm not entirely sure when I first joined, but my current account is dated 16 November 2006, and I've contributed a little since then. I did not start out with the thought in mind that I would contribute regularly. I think I got frustrated with the sketchy state of some of the pages I was accessing, and that has been enough for me to contribute. I do not know that my edits will ever be read but it has been fun.
Well, I guess my edits were read! But not well taken. I appear to have broken some code or other regarding correct usage of a "chronology". So, rather than continue, I've decided to bail out. It WAS fun though! Keep up the good, if rather pedantic, work.
