Ritcey is a surname which developed in Riverport, Nova Scotia, then Ritcey's Cove, situated beautifully at the end of the LaHave River in Nova Scotia, Canada. First settled in 1754, by Johann Phillip Henericie, the surname adapted to language, culture and business requirements to the form it has today.
