Daredevil (Marvel Comics)[edit]

Hello! I added those refs in the first place -- yesterday, the article stated they didn't know each other's secret IDs. I was editing myself to be more succinct in the paragraph, putting the specifics in the ref, as often happens with comic articles. (If you look in the talk page, I didn't like how I worded the first pass, and still don't like it. Hence editing.) Your comments were cut off -- what else did you want to tell me? Salamurai (talk) 02:27, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! and, no worries. Does it read better to you the first way? Which is how it is now. I still don't like it, but don't want to pick my work to death. Salamurai (talk) 02:57, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

The Pride[edit]

Hey, A! Can you take a look at Pride (comics)'s "Recent activities" section? I was reading through it and that whole section with Cap and the reporting is extremely detailed and rather odd. I figure you know the most about it, so I'd point it out to you. I can also go through it if you'd like. Hope you're well! (p.s. totally bought Runaways 10!)Luminum (talk) 05:44, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Please, Luminum, what was there before was that, like, no others even knew of the Pride's existence except Fisk, which I deemed greatly inaccurate. There was no mention of the Avengers at all; by the way, for all your own complaints about articles, is not your comment of "rather odd" implicatory of bias and POV in itself? Why is it unnecessary? Forgive me, yet none others raised complaints specifically about the interview section. Nonetheless, I now see that you must do as you please, which is doubtless greatly beneficial to Wikipedia, and I will not change whatever edits you make. My best wishes, Aidoflight (talk) 21:29, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! I'll explain on his discussion page!Luminum (talk) 00:22, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Well, I tried. I felt that he was treated poorly by editors (including myself) in his initial postings, so I made an effort to explain some of the standards here and in great length and walk him through his subsequent edits and give him my time, but I guess he just took it all as unacceptable criticism. I don't know how long anyone can really go if you try to explain something to someone and all they fire back with consistently is the same argument and conspiracy theories. In the end, it's not my loss nor a loss to the pages I watch, so...::shrug::
Anyway, what do you think about all this "one will die, one will live again" business? I don't read Runaways, but looking at the characters, I'm thinking Victor's out. Klara is too young and relatively too new to be offed, even if she may be a less well received character. Molly's too marketable, Nico's too powerful and iconic for the Runaways, K is the resident lesbian and colorful, and Chase is way too snarky for them to stop writing. And I think everyone's expecting Gert back, but...it seems too obvious.Luminum (talk) 03:37, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Nightcrawler pic[edit]

Be careful about the Nightcrawler pic you added. While it generally fits the image protocols, the fact that it's recent isn't a good enough reason. Luckily it's a full body image and more or less fits the requirements.  :) Luminum (talk) 17:18, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

LOL. I try to write full sentences but there isn't enough room, sadly.Luminum (talk) 23:02, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
I gotta say, since I've read the first two omnibuses, I do like Gert a lot and this makes me pretty damn happy if it were true. But you're completely right--it's still subject to the guideline on solicitations and I know I don't have to explain why to you. It's the same with that silly business with Jean Grey and the Red Queen recently. But still...OMG, how I hope...I think Gert was one of the more original characters in the Marvel Universe. Sarcastic and smart and nearly unphasable, a dinosaur "super power," and a body type that is completely uncommon for mainstream characters that she didn't have a complex over. But you know...if she comes back, Old Lace will probably go back to Gert which leaves Chase powerless and Gert already more than fills Chase's snarky role in the series which may mean that Chase is the one who...you know? ;)Luminum (talk) 21:12, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Now why would she do that? Anyway, I archived the webpage of the blog page for Anole (Weir and DiPhillipis) in case it ever gets taken down and cited it. They're not the best sources, however, and you'd probably want to replace it when the actual issue comes out. You can find examples at the bottom of the Anole page. Generally, it's the author, the title of the thread, the page, the link to the archived page and the specific date (mm/dd/yyyy). Hope that helps!Luminum (talk) 02:24, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: Great work[edit]

Thanks! I did work hard on it. I am still in the process of improving it further, but anyways, thanks! The Flash {talk} 20:52, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Ha, thanks. Yeah, I'm hoping to get these articles up as soon as I can with as much information as I can squeeze out of them. Thanks again for the compliment! The Flash {talk} 14:45, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

The Fame:Monster[edit]

WEll some sources have reported such a thing, but its too WP:RECENTISM to be considered. Also those sources all badly fail WP:RS. Cheers! We are close to promote the Lady Gaga article to GA. --Legolas (talk2me) 04:43, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Improvements notice board[edit]

OK, I finally started an idea I mentioned on the Comics project talk page. :) Feel free to have a go, do whatever you like to make it look better/more functional/whatever, or offer suggestions. BOZ (talk) 14:28, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

I have requested a peer review for Daredevil, for example, an article which you put plenty of work into. :) BOZ (talk) 13:02, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
