RFA[edit]

The guide to RFA really is just a general overview at what people will look at. I wouldn't consider it the textbook of RFA, because it most certainly isn't. RFA is very specific to the person. I think that right now is too early for you to look for an RFA. Considering that you had the Suite Life incident only 2 months ago, I don't think that most voters would be confident in your ability to remain cool headed and impartial. I see the makings of a capable editor in you, but you need to be patient. You still have much to learn and much to prove about yourself. I would suggest admin coaching for you. It will help you get a nominator (although there's nothing wrong with a self-nom at all) and get you an experienced user who can guide you and help you mature. Right now I am full, but I can suggest some of my coaching buddies if you want. I hope this answers your questions. If you have any more questions, just give me an orange bar and I'll get to it ASAP. Adminship[edit]

I saw the thread at Muslim Hybrid's talk. I looked through your contributions, and you would most likely fail miserably. Here's my pros and cons for you as I see them:

Pros:

  1. Good amount of mainspace edits

Cons:

  1. Edit summary usage. That is a big factor in an RFA. It's encouraged to always do that.
  2. Admin work. You have almost none of it. If you see my edits (Go to my userpage, click count), I've made 100 edits to RFPP. The most you've edited in an admin area is 14.
  3. Wanting to be an admin too much. Remember, adminship is not a trophy.

I have some suggestions for you to become a more well rounded editor.

  1. Start an editor review. You get feedback on how you're doing (See WP:ER)
  2. Get an admin coach. (See WP:ADCO) With a coach, you'll get one on one attention from an admin on what you're doing, and what they suggest.

That's it for what I have to say. Hope this helps. Cheers.--LAAFansign review 18:40, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Re:Questions[edit]

Well, it's good that you're doing AIV. Here's the deletion wait:

  • CSD- Fastest as possible (if it meets criteria)
  • Prod- About five days
  • AFD- About five days

Some admin areas are WP:AIV, WP:UAA, WP:RFPP, WP:AFD, WP:AN.... --LAAFansign review 13:30, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

The Help Desk is on the border in terms of admin work. It's really more of an area where well rounded editors-admins or not-help others. It can be thought of very positively, though. Welcoming users, however, is not an admin area.--LAAFansign review 18:59, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Rezai Family[edit]

Hi! Just as a quick clarification, you replaced a CSD tag to this article as vandalism. I suspect you may have been confused, and thought that it was an AfD. CSDs and Prods can be removed by anyone (given certain rules), so the editor who removed it was acting correctly, especially given the reasoning provided. - Bilby (talk) 16:56, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

GA q[edit]

Looks short, but okay. Give it a try. Cirt (talk) 13:37, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

It could be lengthened a bit. I'd say these are questions you could post in depth more to the GA Reviewer. Cirt (talk) 13:54, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

I find that hard to believe that you would delete the Desperate Housewives episode "Mirror, Mirror".[edit]

I find that hard to believe that you would delete the Desperate Housewives episode "Mirror, Mirror" a second time. This episode is on ABC this Sunday, so would you please recreate the page yourself so that I won't have to interfere? AdamDeanHall (talk) 21:10, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Can the "Mirror, Mirror" page be recreated after the episode airs on ABC this Sunday?[edit]

Can the "Mirror, Mirror" page be recreated after the episode airs on ABC this Sunday so that it doesn't fail the Wikipedia policy? AdamDeanHall (talk) 21:35, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:GertandOldLace.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GertandOldLace.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:20, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

No, thank you[edit]

Well you are the one who should be thanked, as I'm really only tweaking things, whereas you've put in the lion's share of the recent work there to get everything up to standard. Good work on the production/publication history/character development angles, because if people want the plot they might as well go and read the comics and that kind of out-of-universe material is exactly the kind of thing that should be in an encyclopedia and will serve the articles well when they aim for the higher quality assessments.
