• Réunion, Georgia (country), Northern Ireland, Russian Empire use the "Category:<occupation> from <country>" format for nationality

Category:Association football players by nationality

1. Create a men's subcategory for each country.

   Example edit – Category:Danish men's footballers is created as a subcategory of Category:Danish footballers.

2. Move articles into men's category.

   Example edits 1, 2, 3: All articles from Category:Danish footballers are moved to Category:Danish men's footballers.

Category:Expatriate association football players by nationality

1. Create a men's subcategory for each country.

   Example edit – Category:Danish expatriate men's footballers is created as a subcategory of Category:Danish expatriate footballers.

2. Move articles into men's category.

   Example edits 1, 2, 3: All articles from Category:Danish expatriate footballers are moved to Category:Danish expatriate men's footballers.

Category:Expatriate association football players by country of residence

1. Create a men's subcategory for each country.

   Example edit – Category:Expatriate men's footballers in Denmark is created as a subcategory of Category:Expatriate footballers in Denmark.

2. Move articles into men's category.

   Example edits 1, 2, 3: All articles from Category:Expatriate footballers in Denmark are moved to Category:Expatriate men's footballers in Denmark.

Category:Association football players by club

1. Create a men's subcategory for each country.

   Example edit – Category:Men's footballers in Denmark by club is created as a subcategory of Category:Footballers in Denmark by club.

2. Move pages into men's category.

   Example edits 1, 2, 3: All contents from Category:Footballers in Denmark by club (except Category:Women's footballers in Denmark by club) are moved to Category:Men's footballers in Denmark by club.

Category:Association football players by country

1. Create a men's subcategory for each country.

   Example category

2. The category then will already be populated by the other types of categories you have already created.

   Example: When Category:Danish men's footballers, Category:Expatriate men's footballers in Denmark and Category:Men's footballers in Denmark by club are created, they will be included in this category.
