Proposal for edits of Wikipedia pages[edit]

  • Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act Wikipedia page links to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_kill_switch . It has been proposed that the “Internet Kill Switch” deserves its own page as other countries including Egypt have used or plan to use their authority to cripple the internet by halting the connections to internet service providers within their jurisdiction. The page for the proposed “Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010” bill lacks a proper introduction and good formatting. Summary and history of the bill should be separated and expanded with their own subcategories like the “’Kill Switch’ Controversy” subcategory has.

  • The Hurt Lockers Wikipedia page on the film has a subcategory for “Copyright infringement lawsuit” which could benefit on expansion of parties involved, expanded explanation of setbacks and other current event issues with the lawsuit that have arisen since it was expanded

Check (as opposed to check minus or plus) because it seems you haven't yet met with an online or campus ambassador. However, each of these ideas looks spectacular. If you decide to only work on one or two of them, I'd encourage you to share the ideas with the other members of your group. PatBerger (talk) 23:05, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
