Lisa Tauxe is a geophysics professor at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego, specializing in geomagnetism and paleomagnetism.
Life[edit]
Tauxe went to school in Minnesota until she was 16, then finished high school at Ecole d'Humanite in Hasliberg Goldern, Switzerland. She received her BS from Yale University, graduating cum laude as Scholar of the House.[3] She earned an MA, MPhil and PhD from Columbia University.
