Misou's smile actually comes from around 24.5 seconds. So thumbtime=0 takes a different thumb from around the middle of the video than the default middle thumb when thumbtime is not specified.
Times seem to be truncated to the nearest second, so this and the following ones are all the same thumb, which happens to be also the default thumb.
