I am a Tennessean currently living in north Alabama, U.S. I have a BSEE degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I designed and built electronic test equipment and avionics for many years, but currently primarily review the technical products of other engineers. My primary side interests are photography and geology, but I wander into all areas of science, and history to a lesser extent. I do not claim expertise in my areas of interest, but will occasionally make grammatic/spelling corrections in articles I read. I will also post questions and suggestions in the "talk" sections. I appreciate the time and effort that others have put into making Wikipedia, and find the enormity of it hard to comprehend at times.
