The 2019 College Basketball Invitational (CBI) will be a single-elimination tournament of 48 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I teams that did not participate on the 2018 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament or the NIT.

Automatic qualifiers[edit]

The following teams are guaranteed berths into the 2019 CBI field by finishing the season with 22 wins but did not win the regular season or conference tournament. Such teams were eligible to receive an at-large berth into the NCAA Tournament or NIT but did not.
