Pryank Wadhera[edit]

Pryank Wadhera comes from the city of Saharanpur in Western Uttar Pradesh. He is a archaeologist by profession and loves the world of history, culture, art, architecture, archaeology and archaeology. Pryank is also a passionate Heritage Walk Expert. Pryank Wadhera has been initiating heritage awareness programs in various parts of the country since 2014.

Education[edit]

After completing his schooling from his hometown at Asha Modern School, he, amidst all the odds, embraced his favorite field of study, History for graduation. After completing B.A (Hons.) History from the University of Delhi in 2017, Pryank pursued his Post-Graduation in Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology from the renowned Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute, Pune in 2019.

He has pursued various certificate and diploma courses among which some include, a certificate course in Basics of Film Production and P.G. Diploma in Cultural Informatics from Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi. He has also pursued a long distance certificate course in Antiquities Trafficking and Art Crime and Art Crime from University of Glasgow.

Experience and Career[edit]

At present, he is working as a Research Associate with Citizens Foundation for Policy Solutions (CFPS) in New Delhi.

When not romancing his subject, Pryank can be found flirting with drama and theatre, poetry and script writing, and also with various sports like table tennis and basketball.

He has been a part of various archaeological excavations on the sites such as Nagardhan, Raigarh Fort and Gorewada in Maharashtra, Kankaikuda in Odisha.

Pryank has also been to various archaeological, indological and historical explorations in the state of Chattisgarh,  Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.

He submitted his dissertation thesis to Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute on, 'Evaluation of Claimed Theatrical Spaces in the Light of Bharata's Natyashastra" in 2019.
