Primopar/Pedro de Aguilar

Pedro de Aguilar (Valladolid, 1331/1332 - Guadalajara, 1338), was a castilian noble and illegitimate son of king Alfonso XI of Castile and his mistress Eleanor de Guzmán.[1]

He was the lord of Aguilar de Campoo,[1] Liébana and La Pernía[2] and some of the villes of Orduña, Paredes de Nava, Baena, Luque and Zuheros.[3] Between 1335 and 1338, he was the supreme chancellor of Castille.[4][5][6]

Familiar origins[edit]

On father's side, he was the grandchild of king Fernando IV of Castile and queen Constance of Portugal;[7] and on mother's side, he was the grandson of Pedro Núñez of Guzmán and Juana Ponce de León.[8][9][10]
