Techtree is an Indian tech media website that publishes reviews, news, articles, blogs, and videos on technology and consumer electronics. Originally founded in 2002 by Pavan Sood and Rizwan Thakur, it was the flagship brand of ITNation India Pvt. Ltd. In mid-2008, ITNation was bought over by the UTV group.^[2]

TechTree later got acquired by Trivone, a Bangalore-based digital media startup, funded by Accel Partners.

TV Show[edit]

After the UTV group acquisition of the parent company, a companion show, also called TechTree, has been produced for UTVi (now Bloomberg UTV). The show originally aired on Thursdays at 10:30pm IST. In September 2009, the show went on a season break. The new, 'reboot' of TechTree commenced on 28 November 2009.
