Piotr Puchalski is the first Wikipedian-in-Residence of the newly-created project of the Józef Piłsudski Institute of America. He was born in 1992 in Warsaw, Poland, and moved to New York at the age of thirteen. He received a Bachelor's degree in European Studies and French from New York University. His academic interests include the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Polish colonial ambitions in the interwar period, and the sinking of the RMS "Titanic." His hobbies include wrestling, traveling and cinema. Puchalski is the author of the historical fiction novel The Relics and writes articles for various websites and magazines, which include Gotham City Wrestling (New York City).
